Behind the Scenes: Building a Coaching Program That Actually Works

What goes into a high-end coaching container? Here's the messy, iterative process behind our curriculum and why we keep changing it.

When I launched my first coaching program, I thought I had it all figured out. I had a fancy PDF, a six-week structure, and a lot of enthusiasm. What I didn't have was feedback from actual clients. Three weeks in, I realized the program was too theoretical. People wanted more time to implement and less time listening to me talk.

That was a humbling lesson. Since then, I've rebuilt our flagship program three times. Each iteration is based on what clients actually need, not what I think they need. The result is a container that's part curriculum, part mastermind, and part deep inner work.

So what does it look like now? We start with a two-hour deep dive to map your current business and your desired future. From there, we meet weekly for 90 minutes. The first 30 minutes are hot seats—real-time coaching on a specific challenge. The next 30 are teaching a framework or tool. The last 30 are implementation and accountability. Between sessions, you have worksheets and a private Slack channel for support.

But the real magic is in the off-weeks. That's when we do the integration work: journaling prompts, visualization, and experiments. One client called it "the spiritual MBA." I'll take that.

Why the focus on integration? Because information alone doesn't create transformation. You can know all the pricing strategies in the world, but if you don't believe you're worth it, you'll sabotage yourself. We use evidence-based tools from psychology and contemplative practices to help you rewire those beliefs.

For example, every client does a "money story" audit. We trace their earliest memories around money and success. Then we reframe them. It's not therapy, but it's therapeutic. And it's often the missing piece for high-achievers who can't figure out why they keep hitting the same ceiling.

Another behind-the-scenes detail: we cap the group at 12. That's intentional. It allows for real intimacy and personalized attention. It also means we can't scale endlessly, which is fine. We're not trying to be a mass-market product. We're trying to create deep change.

What about the curriculum? It's built around three pillars: Clarity, Alignment, and Action. Clarity is about knowing your offer, your audience, and your numbers. Alignment is about values, boundaries, and energy management. Action is about execution—launching, selling, and iterating. Each week covers one aspect, and we spiral back to reinforce.

We also include guest experts. Past sessions have featured a negotiation coach, a trauma-informed therapist, and a former client who scaled to six figures. These voices add depth and prove that the work is possible.

One thing we don't do: hype. There are no promises of overnight success. No "six figures in six weeks." We focus on sustainable growth and honest metrics. That attracts a different kind of client—one who's in it for the long game.

Is the program perfect? No. We're still iterating. But the feedback is overwhelmingly positive. Clients report feeling more confident, more focused, and more aligned. And that's the point: not just a better business, but a better life.
